The Sect of the Horned God is a left-hand path organization that promotes the study and advancement of\u00a0 philosophy, psychology, mythology and the occult.<\/p>\n

Because The Sect of the Horned God is an educational foundation, The Academy is specifically designed to foster and support those who are new to the LHP. In essence, and as stated in the “Join” page, there are two platforms of membership within The Sect.<\/p>\n

The first is a basic application to The Sect of the Horned God, which is an initial requirement for all. Here you will fill out a basic membership questionnaire which is available below. Once these questions are submitted, you will receive a series of follow-up questions that allow us to get to know you better, which will determine membership approval.<\/p>\n

When membership is approved, there is an option for those specifically new to the LHP to make application to the Academy (or second platform): The Orders of The Sect. \u00a0These Orders are designed to introduce the basics of the LHP, critical thinking, and philosophy through required reading, discussions and lessons designated by instructors. \u00a0It is important to remember that the Orders are not designed to tell you “what to think” but rather to foster an independent understanding of your individual path. \u201cClassrooms\u201d will be private and away from the public eye, but each Order, as you progress, will also require a separate application.<\/p>\n

While any Sect member is welcome to go through the Orders, they are not deemed as necessary for those who have a proven history and\/or understanding of the LHP. \u00a0They are also not necessary to remain an active member of The Sect. \u00a0They are, however, compulsory for those that wish to represent The Sect in the media based public arena.<\/p>\n
